Yes, we're back...and...well...we're loving it!
No offence to the lovely people we met and know in Sydney, but there's a few things a Melbourne duo can miss about home like coffee, friendly service and trams.
For those of you who don't know, Sean and I had our first exhibition in Sydney over the weekend, or to be more exact at Ruban Rat (vinyl toy store) in Newtown.
Ruban Rat is located on King street and stocks a variety of vinyl toys, blind boxes, books/magazines and t'shirts.
The stock is selected by the owner Rachel who in my eyes has great taste in these things and if you live nearby you should definitely go down and take a look at what's in stock.
Sean and I picked up a wooden "Hells Proprietor" by Glenn Barr and a "Dr Destruction" by Muttpop.
Newtown is probably the closest Sydney gets to being like home with a few good cafes and an abundance of Thai food that kept us well fed.
Opening night went well, we met some really nice people who came to appreciate our work despite the rain, (apparently rain keeps the Sydney people away) and landed a few sales too.
Sean and I worked on our first ever collaborative print specifically for the show called "Fight Like Rabbits", coming in at over a meter in length this is one hell of a print.
If you can't make it to the show you can purchase it as a Giclée print on cotton rag paper (limited edition of 10 worldwide!) over at BucketoThought.com
Huge thanks to Will and Nell for putting us up for our stay, their hospitality knows no bounds, and to Winston and Jess (their dogs) for jumping all over Sean.
Another big thank-you to Rachel at Ruban Rat for putting up with our bickering during setup and constant bitching about Sydney.

Yes Sean and I have given birth to a brand new webstore!
Our multi-page, PayPal enabled, bouncing BoT filled store came kicking and screaming into the world
on Sunday afternoon.
Since then there has been many sleepless nights and lots of crap to clean up, but that's to be expected.
Get your hands on some stuff… now!
Thought I'd post this up because they're just so damned cool!
Sean Kelly aka - Bucket'O'Thought aka - my lovely boyfriend has just produced two lovely books with Modofly.
You can buy them via modofly.net and etsy.... SO DO IT!
Exciting news - Sean and I have our first ever show together as an "item" woooooooo!
Our cute lil'show will be held at Ruban Rat in Newtown (Sydney) with prints, custom vinyl, skateboards
and a few other goodies on show.
We hope to see some familiar faces there (Being from Melbs this will be our formal introduction to Sydney.)
If you can make it- come have a drink with us!
Please pass this on to many lovely Sydney peeps ;)

Yes it's true!
After a long and tedious wait the first signs of the Bucket'o'Thought product range has started to emerge.
Pretty soon you'll all be able to get your hands on a tasty collection of products ranging from art prints to badges.
Here's a sneak peek at some badge packs that were made over the weekend, don't let the tag-line fool you...
It was Sean and I who made over 200 badges and packaged them up as you see them now. (and yes we have small hands.)
If you haven't seen Bucket'o'Thought I suggest you do OR ELSE!
Another Update: Here's some photos from the afternoon/evening good work, good beer, good people.
Update: Here's some pictures of Sean working on his painting for the show...
Me think I need more JPG and some more light!
If you happen to be in sunny Melbourne this Saturday ( 6:30pm 1/12/07 ) come down to Beer Delux in Federation Square for the Rats Nest opening featuring many super fine artists including my lovely Sean Kelly...
Saturday night at Beer Deluxe is Rats Nest - a new Saturday night home for Melbourne's young, cultural taste-makers, aged 19 to 33. In a crowded and fickle bar scene, Rats Nest offers a chilled hideaway for those who value timeless good taste, over hyped, exposed, overnight fads. The format is classic, deep groove, funk, hip-hop and soul. Rat's Nest features regular performances by some of Melbourne's coolest live acts, plus regular outdoor live DJ broadcasts by radio station 3PBS 106.7FM. Rats Nest features regular art exhibitions and cultural events which bring together key names from Melbourne's vibrant, world-reknowned progressive art and fashion scene. Designers, musicians, painters, writers, photographers, fashion retailers, publishers, promoters, image-makers and online trendsetters, Rats Nest is the place to meet and be seen.
Sean Kelly and I have teamed up for the very first time to make a collaborative piece for the show.
Here's what they look like...
No prizes for guessing which Bunee is mine!
FreQee is an exhibition featuring the work of 50 contemporary counter-culture artists, including Graffiti Artists, Tattooists, Graphic Designers, Comix Artists and more. Each artist will start with the same object, a blank 9” designer vinyl toy, and then create an artwork in their own individual style.
The FreQee exhibition will be held at Brisbane Powerhouse from the 28th of August tothe 9th of September 2007, with the official opening party on Friday August the 31st from 7pm until midnight. The opening night will feature live DJ’s and door prizes, including Tattoo vouchers from All Star Tattoo, t-shirt packs and voucher from Berserk Clothing and a 9” DIY Bunee QEE.
